A Functional Capacity Assessment looks closely at how a person's disability affects their everyday life, and what support they need to build independence and participate in the activities that matter to them. I prepare each report with clinical precision and a genuinely client-centred approach, so it reflects the person in front of me, not a template.
Sessions are conducted via telehealth, which means I can work with clients and support coordinators in any location across Australia without compromising on the quality or attention to detail a thorough assessment requires. This includes reports addressing SIL and SDA housing components, where relevant to a client's needs.

We'll have an initial conversation about your situation, your NDIS plan, and what the report needs to cover. Where it's helpful, I also talk with family members and others on your support team, such as other health professionals or support workers, to build a fuller picture.
We meet via telehealth to talk through how your disability affects your daily life. As part of this, I'll usually ask you to show me a task you already do most days, like making a cup of tea or brushing your teeth, so I can see how you go about it in your own space.
I apply clinical reasoning to bring together everything gathered across the conversation and the session, the information, observations and evidence, into a report structured to support your funding outcomes.
Your report is delivered to you and, where relevant, your support coordinator, and I'm available afterward if you have questions.
